Stilnoct Side Effects, Overdose and Pregnancy Information

Stilnoct is a sleeping pill used as a short-term treatment of insomnia. Stilnoct is fairly new sleeping aid drug and is chemically different from other common sleep aids. By comparison, to other sleep aids Stilnoct has modest muscle relaxing action and that is why it has less of a hangover effect on people. Stilnoct's goal is to reduce the time between going to bed and falling asleep. Stilnoct is for temporary use of week to 10days maximum and should not be used for longer period of time. If insomnia t lasts longer than 10days then it could be a symptom of another problem.

Stilnoct Side Effects


Stilnoct side effects include allergy, daytime drowsiness, dizziness, drugged feeling, headache, diarrhea, nausea. Less common Stilnoct side effects may include chest pain, fatigue, abnormal dreams, agitation, amnesia, anxiety, confusion, constipation, dry mouth, and vomiting. Rare Stilnoct side effects may include aggravation of high blood pressure, aggression, anemia, belching, blisters, decreased sex drive, delusion, kidney failure, kidney pain, leg cramps, and weight loss.

WARNING FOR STILNOCT


Stilnoct could be habit forming, especially if taken for more than 10 days.



Do not combine Stilnoct with alcohol.

Inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney or lung problems.

Stilnoct may make you sleepy and unable to concentrate. Do not drive a car or operate machinery until you know how this drug affects you.

If you have Asthma or other breathing problems like COPD, they may become worse with Stilnoct.

STILNOCT AND PREGNANCY


Stilnoct has affected the fetus in animal studies. Nursing mothers should switch to bottle �??feed while taking Stilnoct.

STILNOCT OVERDOSE


People who take more than 10mg per day of Stilnoct may become excessively depressed or even go into a light coma. The symptoms of Stilnoct overdose may become more life threatening if the person is also taking other drugs that depress the central nervous system. In case of Stilnoct overdose, seek medical attention right away.

STILNOCT INTERACTION


It is imperative to check with your physician before combining Stilnoct with the following:

Other tranquilizers

Antidepressant drugs

Drugs that depress the central nervous system, including Valium, Percocet, and Benadryl.

STILNOCT DOSES


ADULTS
The usual dose is 10mg right before bedtime. Your doctor may prescribe a smaller dose if you are over 65 or have liver or kidney problems.
CHILDREN
Stilnoct is not recommended for children under 18.
