Main Ingredient: Doxycycline
Doxychel Hyclate is widely used as an alternative medicine for those who are allergic to penicillin. Doxychel Hyclate is considered as a broad-spectrum antibiotic, because it is used to treat a number of bacterial infections such as amebic dysentery, cholera, Lyme disease, upper respiratory infections, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, pneumonia, STDs such as gonorrhea, and urinary tract infections. Doxychel Hyclate antibiotic is also used to help treat severe acne (low dosage) and pink eye (conjunctivitis).
Doxychel Hyclate work by preventing the growth of the invading bacteria. This results in the body's own immunity system fighting off the infection.
WARNING
You should not take Doxychel Hyclate if you are sensitive to or have ever had an allergic reaction to any Doxychel Hyclate in the past.
Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease. He or she may
recommend a lower dose of Doxychel Hyclate.
Avoid prolonged exposure to sun especially if you are prone to sunburn, when taking Doxychel Hyclate.
If you are taking Doxychel Hyclate over an extended period of time, your doctor will perform blood, kidney, and liver tests periodically.
Doxychel Hyclate should not be given to children under 8 as this may retard their growth and could cause permanent discoloration of teeth.
DOXYCHEL HYCLATE SIDE EFFECTS
Common side effects of Doxychel Hyclate may include upset stomach, vomiting, diarrhea, and headache, rash.
Rare side effects may include anemia, blurred vision, dizziness, extreme allergic reactions, increased sensitivity to light, loss of appetite, nausea, ringing in the ears, swelling due to fluid retention, liver or kidney problems, skin eruptions, hairy tongue and thyroid gland problems.

Check with your physician before combining Doxychel Hyclatewith the following:
Antacids
Blood thinners
Digoxin
Insulin
Lithium
Oral
contraceptives
Penicillin antibiotics
DOXYCHEL HYCLATE AND PREGNANCY
Doxychel Hyclate should not be used during pregnancy. It may influence the growth of the unborn baby's bones and teeth.
Nursing mothers should switch to bottle feed while taking Doxychel Hyclate as it may pass into breast milk.
DOXYCHEL HYCLATE DOSES
CHILDREN (8 and older)
100 mg twice daily. For children who are
under 100 lbs. 2mg/ body weight, divided by 2, twice daily.
ADULTS
200 mg twice daily.
DOXYCHEL HYCLATE OVERDOSE
Seek medical attention right away if you suspect an overdose of Doxychel Hyclate. Overdose symptoms of Doxychel Hyclate may include diarrhea, vomiting and upset stomach.
