Easprin Side Effects, Overdose and Pregnancy Information


Easprin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Easprin is used to ease pain and to reduce fever. In some cases, Easprin is also given to prevent blood clot.Easprin also temporarily relieves the aches and pains associated with arthritis, muscle aches, colds, and flu. A small daily dose of Aspirin may be taken to decrease recurrence of a heart attack or other heart problems. Main ingredient in Easprin is Aspirin.

Easprin Side Effects

Common side effects associated with Easprin include stomach pain or discomfort, stomach ulcers, heartburn, nausea, vomiting and intestinal bleeding. Rare side effects of Easprin include abnormal bleeding, insomnia, fatigue, short breath, itching, redness and swelling of the face and rash. All side effects should be reported to the health care provider right away.

Easprin Overdose

Symptoms of Easprin overdose may include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, short breath, and ringing in the ear. In case of Easprin overdose, seek medical attention right away.

Easprin and Pregnancy

Easprin should not be given during pregnancy especially the last 3 months of pregnancy. If you are nursing, inform your doctor as Aspirin does pass into breast milk.


Easprin Caution

Easprin should not be taken if you had allergic reaction to Aspirin in the past, or if you have bleeding disorder, asthma, or stomach ulcers.

Easprin should not be given to children under 16 for flu or chickenpox, as Aspirin has been associated with the development of an often-fatal condition, known as Reye's syndrome.

Easprin Interactions

Consult with your physician before combining Easprin with Acetazolamide, ACE-inhibitor-type blood pressure medications, Antacids, Antigout medications, Arthritis medications, Blood thinners, certain diuretics, Diabetes medications including Insulin and Seizure medications.

Alcohol can increase the likelihood of stomach ulcer and intestinal bleeding.

Herbs like garlic, ginger, and ginkgo may increase the risk of upset stomach.

Vitamin E and Fish oil supplements may increase the risk of bleeding.

Easprin Doses

It is best that Easprin taken with food or milk.

ADULTS

For Pain and Fever

325-650mg every 4 hours up to 6 times a day.

For all other uses such as Arthritis, blood clot or heart problems consult your physician first.
