Triamcinolone is a topical corticosteroid given to treat the rash, itching, inflammation, and other forms of skin disorders including eczema and psoriasis. Drugs like Triamcinolone do not cure the cause of these problems but they can quickly relieve the symptoms by interfering with the production of various substances in the body that cause these skin disorders. That is why it is imperative that corticosteroids like Triamcinolone should not be used without prior consultation of your physician, as these conditions could be a symptom of a larger problem.
TRIAMCINOLONE OVERDOSE
Triamcinolone overdose symptoms may include anxiety, depression, increased blood glucose level, high blood pressure and water retention(swelling under the skin). In case of Triamcinolone overdose, seek medical help right away. If you miss a dose of Triamcinolone, take it as soon as you can. However, if it is just about time for your next dose, skip the one you forgot and go on with your regular schedule. Never take a double dose of Triamcinolone.
